Wet weather is just around the corner, and this is a prime time to prepare our residences for the onslaught. Water is the enemy in keeping a structurally-sound home, and there are several things you can do this time of year to help.
Specifically:
1) Clean gutters & direct downspouts away from foundations
2) Trim back shrubs, bushes and trees from contact with structures
3) Do a final clearing of flower beds
4) Apply autumn fertilizer to lawns for future health benefits.
